Katherine is attending this year’s Business Expo at the Blue Mountains Community Hub, Springwood, presented by the Blue Mountains Regional Business Chamber on May 25 which will showcase the talent and variety of businesses in the region. Sometimes these businesses are based away from the main shopping centres and industrial centres so it will be worthwhile coming along to see what you can access without going out of the area.

Another attraction on the day will be the free 30 minute seminars presented by Chamber Members as follows. Why not plan your day around the seminars that interest you. You’ll be able to speak to the presenters afterwards about your personal circumstances.

11am: The Homestay dustry in the Blue Mountains – Ian Randell, Ground Staff
11.45am: Defining Your Unique Selling Proposition – Veechi Stuart, Richards Financial Services
12.30pm: Bushfire Attack Level Number – How to Calculate it – Dr Danny Wotherspoon, Abel Ecology
1.15pm: 3 Leadership Traits that Boost Performance in Your Team – Dr Elaine Harding, Thrivability
2pm: Self Managed Super & the Business Owner – Adam Mondy, Mondy Financial Services
2.45pm: Is Your Website Costing You Money? Understanding Social Media Law – Katherine Hawes,
Aquarius Lawyers

The Expo is sponsored by Blue Mountains City Council, Stainless Steel Worx and helloworld Springwood and Glenbrook and entry is free.
Teresa Henson from Stainless Steel Worx, winner of the Harry Hammon Business of the Year 2015 said, “As small business owners ourselves, we’re very proud to be able to support this Expo which gives local business owners exposure, allowing them to promote and market themselves to the Blue Mountains community.”
